New Aesthetic Options

An object of art used as body ornament becomes an inspiring narrative for choreographing a dance, or, vice versa, dance may trigger the creation of a new body art object. Our dialog aims to research new aesthetic options.

Since then, two video clips have been produced. Both videos are choreographed and directed by Cristina Perera, with jewellery by Martina M. Dempf. The video shooting and editing has been carried out by Uwe Steckhan.

In addition to video/film, the artists aim at offering live performances of dance with contemporary art jewellery and installations of different sizes, all to be performed and/or exposed on stages, art galleries, museums and festivals alike.
